Recycled PET Bags
TSG is actively reducing plastic waste by using bags made from recycled PET bottles. This initiative not only helps conserve energy by reducing the need for new plastic production but also minimizes environmental impact. By repurposing PET bottles into reusable bags, TSG promotes sustainable packaging solutions and supports eco-friendly practices.
Replacing Paper Towels with Electric Hand Dryers
As part of TSG’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, we have implemented an eco-friendly initiative by replacing traditional paper towels with electric hand dryers in our facilities. This change not only supports environmental conservation but also contributes to our mission of reducing waste and conserving resources.
Monthly Savings: By eliminating the need for 500 packets of paper towels every month, we are significantly cutting down on paper waste and packaging materials.
Annual Impact:
Trees Saved: This initiative helps save 28 trees each year by reducing the demand for paper towel production, directly contributing to the preservation of natural forests.
Water Conservation: We are also conserving approximately 33,000 gallons of water annually by eliminating the water required for the paper towel manufacturing process.
Digital Transformation: Introduction of Digitalized “Pick & Pack” System
In December 2022, TSG launched a transformative initiative by introducing a digitalized “Pick & Pack” system. This move towards automation and digital solutions has revolutionized our operations, significantly improving efficiency and sustainability.
Monthly Paper Savings: By eliminating the need for paper-based processes, TSG has saved 75,000 sheets of paper each month, reducing paper waste and promoting eco-friendly practices.
Manhour Savings: The digital system has streamlined our operations, saving 60 manhours every month, allowing our team to focus on more critical tasks and improving overall productivity.
Annual Environmental Impact: This shift to digital has helped save 104 trees annually, further contributing to our commitment to reducing environmental impact and supporting sustainable practices.
E-Invoice Savings: Enhancing Efficiency and Sustainability
Switching to an electronic invoicing system is a key step in TSG’s efforts to reduce paper usage and increase operational efficiency. By embracing this digital solution, we have achieved significant environmental and financial benefits.
Annual Paper Savings: By transitioning to e-invoices, TSG saves 362,000 sheets of paper annually, reducing the need for paper printing and contributing to waste reduction.
Environmental Impact: This shift saves 42 trees per year, helping preserve forests and supporting sustainable resource use.
Financial Savings: The move to e-invoices also leads to an annual cost saving of $12.6k, by eliminating paper-related expenses and streamlining the invoicing process.
Solar Panel Installation
Harnessing the power of the sun, we have integrated solar panels into our operations to reduce dependency on non-renewable energy sources. By using clean, renewable energy, we’re helping to lower our carbon emissions and increase energy efficiency.
