Our Capabilities

Innovation Meets Tradition

Innovation is the key to our business. We have always been on the forefront of innovation. Many of the products currently seen in the industry have been pioneered by TSG. Our quest for modern methods of production spurred the evolution of TSG into the dynamic conglomerate we are today.

We operate out of a new state-of-the-art 150,000 sq ft factory, processes well over 25,000 kg of fish meat daily and more than 60 varieties of appetising fish-based products for both local and international markets — a massive leap from our backyard beginnings where production and distribution involved the entire family.

Accolades and Certifications

Clearly ahead of the market, TSG was the first food manufacturer in Singapore to attain Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) Certification by the Singapore Productivity and Standards Board and Halal Certification for seafood products by the Muslim Religious Council of Singapore. The company also obtained the EU license for export to the EU market. In 2015, TSG attained the Gold Award from AVA (Agri-food and Veterinary Authority of Singapore) for achieving Grade A in food hygiene, sanitation and processing since year 1999, for 15 consecutive years. This is a FIRST in the fish ball manufacturing industry. Our numerous certifications and awards are a testament to our stringent quality policy. We will continue to challenge the benchmark of our practices against the international best practices to give our customers only the best.

Industry Manufacturing 4.0

TSG’s dedication to bringing the very best of surimi to the world is the reason for the current company trajectory of becoming an Industry 4.0 manufacturing company. Aside from the several awards that TSG has continued to garner, this company goal has several implications on the company’s strength in terms of the processes, but more importantly, the management and direction strategies.

As an Industry 4.0 company, TSG’s sprawling 150,000 new home will be industry-grade smart. This means that TSG will be using the very best and most advanced equipment in food processing and packaging. More strikingly, it means that the all of the state-of-the-art equipment will communicate over the Internet of Things. What this translates to is that processes are most efficient at the very base line. The implications of this technology are great. As the machines and equipment are able to seamlessly align and interface, the management will be able to keep constant tabs on the status of production in real time. This pioneering standard will help grow TSG’s workforce in two ways: first, management will make better decisions with the fast, real time data that pushes through, or pulled up on demand. Second, TSG’s baseline workers will be freed to do other higher order tasks, as all the repetitive tasks are all automated.
